In the past 6 omnths I've been discovering new things, meeting new people and baking quite a lot. I've fallen in the Cupcake trend head-on and I'm quite happy because it then opened the door for a whole new world of fun: crazy cake-decorating. I'm not talking cutie-pie cupcakes, but acid-coloured, bright looking rainbow and neurotic cakes/cupcakes.
I've found an ally in my friend Gemma, whom I've been brainstorming with for the past 3 months on how to make a "Neurotic cake", ie a crazy looking, "what the hell did the cook think" cake :) We are still looking for the perfect idea! feel free to submit your vision of a neurotic cake

Beacause when it comes to cake decorating it sometimes can be a bit too rosey/sweet looking/ I'm gonna barf if I see another pink frosting flower. What about devilish looking cakes? instead of putting 1 cute sugar bird on the cake, put an entire army, all looking the same way , fixating the person who's intending to eat it... a kinda aviary "Children of the Corn" :)
And beacause all this sugar, butter, sweetener etc.. have a serious tendency to stay on my body, I've boosted myself to do more sports: swimming, gym-ming and yoga-ing... in order to be able to reward myself for all this hard work-out with... a cupcake :)
